Today’s Choices is an evidence-based clinical and educational program to help youth understand the importance of the choices they make every day, and how those choices result in opportunities as well as consequences.
Today’s Choices also helps parents learn about adolescent struggles, how parents’ behavior impacts the choices their children make, how to improve communication with their children, and how to help their children make more effective choices.
Youth will learn:
Important problem-solving skills
How to identify and respond to their feelings in safe ways
The importance of positive peer and social relationships
How to improve communication with their families
The consequences of their daily choices
Strategies to better decision-making
The effects of drugs of abuse on their developing brain and body
Parents will learn:
The causes and effects of risky behaviors
The effects of drugs of abuse on the developing brain and body
How to improve family communication
How to support their child and help them make better decisions

Individual youth sessions

Toxicology screens
Eligibility
Youth ages 13 to 18.
Program Requirements
Youth must attend all scheduled weekly appointments. Also, a parent or guardian must attend all weekly family appointments.
Fees
Today’s Choices is covered by most commercial and HUSKY medical insurance. Clients are responsible for co-pays and deductibles.
