Strength comes in many forms.
The Coronavirus has changed our everyday lives. Despite this, we are still committed to providing life-saving and life-changing services for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
This year, instead of lacing up our bowling shoes, we’re hosting a virtual 14-day challenge that will empower your body, mind and spirit.
Join The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services for the Strength-4-Survivors challenge!
The Strength-4-Survivors (S4S) challenge will honor victims and survivors of domestic violence. Funds raised by S4S will support the services and programs that The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services (UCDVS) and HOPE Family Justice Center provides for nearly 8,000 people a year.
Each morning, starting on March 13, you’ll be sent via email a challenge to complete. They will range from mindful, to creative, to physical- with options to modify or challenge yourself. Complete the daily challenge and post it on social media. Bragging is totally acceptable!
The money you raise in sponsors will go to the UCDVS, helping victims, survivors and their children rebuild their lives.
A Chance to Shine
This year’s event will include a week long virtual challenge and end with a live concert on the Green at Quarry Walk.
