    BHcare is licensed by the Department of Public Health, and is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

    BHcare is designated by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services as the Local Mental Health Authority for the following towns:

    • Valley: Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton.
    • Shoreline: Branford, East Haven, Guilford, Madison, North Branford and North Haven.
  • PCRC, a division of BHcare, is a licensed Child Guidance Clinic that provides clinical and support services for children, adolescents and teens who are struggling with behavioral health issues; we guide them with innovative, creative and evidence-based programs that help engage them with school and help them become hopeful, confident, and secure.

  • BHcare’s The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services provides domestic violence services and supports for the following towns: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Branford, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, West Haven and Woodbridge.
